Neurolysis for Advanced Cancer Pain

In patients suffering from localized pain due to terminal cancer, which is not treatable with more conservative measures, highly specific neurolytic procedures can be done to reduce their pain.  These treatments may be appropriate in any part of the body, but have found to be most effective in treating tumors involving the pancreas, facial, rectal, lumbar plexus, and chest wall.
